- In the event that
your student causes an incident that creates liability for Club Etiquette
at any locations where our sessions are being conducted, the undersigned
agrees to indemnify & hold harmless, Club Etiquette from any legal
risk.
- Each Cotillion
session will have a minimum of 35 ladies & 35 gentlemen & a
maximum of 45 ladies & 45 gentlemen, accepted on a first come, first
serve basis.
- Students should
arrive 15 minutes prior to the beginning of class so that they can check
in & get situated. Classes will begin promptly; we have a great
deal to cover in each session.
- Attendance at
balls & dance lessons shall be limited to students only; no guests
allowed.
- If any student
engages in unlawful or inappropriate behavior, his/her parents will
be asked to leave with them immediately. The student’s membership
will be terminated with no refunds.
- At each party
& dance lesson, students are required to register with the hostess
at the entrance desk. Any member who leaves early will not be
allowed to return. A parent or designated carpool driver must
pick up students.
- Parents will be
held fully responsible for damages caused by their student.
- Students must
be picked up promptly from each function.
- No alcoholic beverages
or gum allowed.
- Videotaping &
photography is prohibited except with written permission from Club Etiquette.
- Necessary changes
shall be at the discretion of the Cotillion Coordinating Committee &
Club Etiquette.
Dance Lesson Attire:
In order to participate in the lesson, adherence to the dress code is
mandatory. Anyone violating the dress code will not be allowed
to participate in the lessons.
Ladies:
- Party or church
dress. (No strapless dress/tops. No bra straps or tummy showing.)
- Skirts & blouses
are allowed if they are dressy. (No denim or corduroy) Dress must
be no shorter that the end of the lady’s fingertips when arms are
to the side.
- Hosiery or tights
preferred.
- Shoes with smooth
or leather soles are required for safety reasons & to allow for
sliding across the dance floor. Shoes need to have a back; no
sandals or flip-flops. No platform shoes allowed.
- Please do not
feel that a new or different outfit for each dance lesson is necessary.
- No shorts allowed.
Hats & t-shirts allowed only on costume nights.
- No tattoos or
nose jewelry. Earrings & necklaces are encouraged. Multiple
sets of earrings are discouraged.
Gentlemen:
- Traditional suit
or sports coat & slacks, shirt, belt & tie. (No denim allowed)
- No shorts allowed.
Hats & t-shirts allowed only on costume nights.
- Smooth, hard-soled
shoes in brown, cordovan or black are preferred. Loafers are fine.
(No tennis shoes, sandals or flip-flops.)
- Sports coats
should be labeled with your son’s name.
- No tattoos, earrings
or nose jewelry.
- Shirts must be
tucked in.
- No boxers showing.
By agreeing to the above
terms and conditions, I release Club Etiquette Junior Cotillion from
any liability, which may arise from an accident or injury to my child,
while he or she is attending a Club Etiquette Junior Cotillion function.
I understand that should my child violate any of the Club Etiquette
Junior Cotillion Guidelines attached, he or she can be removed from
the Cotillion for the remainder of the Cotillion classes or balls with
no refund of payment. By agreeing to these terms and conditions,
I understand that I am consenting to having my child photographed during
the dance lessons & balls, for their complementary photograph &
for future Club Etiquette promotional advertising as well.
